Beyond the Bench
We care about you becoming a great musician, but we also care about developing and growing you as a person. Studying music and learning the piano has many benefits that go well beyond the bench. That's why we created the Beyond the Bench Program that focuses on connecting music skills with life skills. While students have varying levels of talents and abilities, everyone can learn and grow in:
CHARACTER, CONFIDENCE, AND CREATIVITY.
Performances
We think it's extremely valuable for you to learn how to perform and share your gift with others. We also always seek to create a warm and safe environment during our recitals and we prioritize you learning how to express yourself musically above simply playing all of the right notes. Performing is one of the areas we have seen students confidence grow the most. We love seeing the transformation that takes place when a student turns into a courageous and confident performer.
Your Musical Journey
We have a leveling system at 232 because we think it crucial for our musician to be able to see the progress they make over time. This helps provide your child motivation and a clear path forward. Within each level there are new and exciting benefits that give the musicians intrinsic awards for improving as a musician. We believe this is important in cultivating a love and passion for music itself. We want to take you on a 10 year musical journey that results in a lifetime of enjoying music!

Grow - 232 is a community that strives to always be growing and maturing. We never get to a point where we have learned all there is to know nor will we ever achieve perfection. So we don’t shy away from opportunities to be challenged and grow.
Musicians - We are a music studio because we love music! We know that music has the power to do incredible things in your life, our community, and in the world. Our goal is to raise you up to be a musician who is passionate about music and has developed a sense of what music means to you and how you can use it for the betterment of yourself and others.
Together - We believe that your growth as a musician will happen best within a loving and encouraging community. Music is meant to be shared and what better way to learn how to communicate the language of music than to do it together!
