We understand that this season provides some particular challenges so these are some of the measures we have taken to make sure we are providing a safe environment.
Studio Protocol:
- The Lobby waiting area will be closed.
- Classrooms have been downsized to ensure that students can maintain 6 feet of distance from one another
- All commonly touched surfaces will be wiped down frequently throughout the studio
- There will be a sanitization station at the front of the studio for use before and after lessons
- Keyboard stations will be reduced to only necessary tools limiting what will be touched and what needs to be wiped down between classes
What we are asking of the teachers:
- Stay home if you feel sick or demonstrate any of the symptoms related to COVID-19. Online makeup lesson arrangements will be made.
- Wear masks at all times while teaching in the studio
- Wash hands regularly (while of course singing the Happy Birthday song!)
- Maintain social distancing by keeping 6 feet of distance from other staff and students as often as possible
- Greet students at the door by opening the front door
- Opening the doors to classes and propping doors open during beginning and end of class to avoid extra contact by students
- Teachers will use their own pens/pencils for marking or writing information in order to avoid sharing with students.
